Hello! My name is Amy Tilson, and I would love to help you grow in your understanding of math. I have over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring middle school and high school math on all levels from 6th grade to Pre-Calculus. I am also able to tutor Trigonometry and College Algebra. I began tutoring students while I was in college working toward a degree in Secondary Math Education. After college graduation, I taught math for several years in the classroom setting before having children and transitioning to the role of homeschool mom. In addition to tutoring students who attend traditional schools, I have taught students in the homeschool setting individually and in small groups. Tutoring is fun for me; I really enjoy working with individuals and being able to see each student gain confidence in understanding and using math concepts.
